The objective of the Pannon Flavours project is to discover and present the gastronomic values of the border region of Hungary and Croatia, in order to promote the development of tourism. The project is the cooperation of Dél-Dunántúli Idegenforgalmi Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. (the lead beneficiary), Gaudeamus Secondary School (Osijek) and Magyar Gasztronómiai Egyesület (Hungarian Gastronomy Association). In addition to being the leader of the project, the scope of activities of Dél-Dunántúli Idegenforgalmi Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. also includes the evaluation or Hungarian and Croatian tourist attractions, and the establishment and promotion of gastronomic experience routes. The activities of the project and the gastro-routes will be presented on the website, and a tourists' publication made available at the two gastronomic information points and the tourism information points in the region. The Gaudeamus educational institution promotes local culinary specialities, local products and producers on the Croatian side, and by making available publications, organising fairs and maintaining an information point, it enables local gastronomy to increase its role in the local touristic sector. More information about fairs in Croatia is available on the http://www.gaudeamus.hr/okusipanonije/en/projekt/ website. Magyar Gasztronómiai Egyesület (Hungarian Gastronomy Association) uncovers the culinary specialities of the region, and promotes these among professionals through organising workshops and creating expert videos. More information on the activities and events of the association is available on the http://www.gaultmillau.hu/buvos-szakacs website as well, where the videos are also published.

During the implementation of the project two separate studies were conducted to support the evolvement and rating of the gastronomical attractions.

The two information points established under the framework of the project are available:

• in Pécs, at the Susogó Restaurant, at the address Szőlő u. 54. Open from Wednesday to Saturday: 12: 00-20: 00

• in Osijek, at the address Školska 6. Open every weekday.

The project is funded by the Hungary-Croatia Cross-border Co-operation Programme.
